Not So Superbad

Not So SuperBad Sweetly absurd, Crude and awkward, Superbad is almost a typical teen movie, reminding me a bit of the American Pie films beca engage of the childlike plot and juvenile humour. However, compared to other teen movies the film is more than than more intelligently written than others of its genre, and this shines through in the tempers. Theirs is a highly interdependent friendship. though the character I entangle was one of the best things in Superbad is the almost impossibly well-cast Foge ll (Christopher Mints-Plasse), the attribute geek responsible for the worst fake ID ever. Though the trine of them are clearly un fashionable, they refuse to admit it, especially Seth, who believes he has a destiny with Jules, one of the most popular girls in the school.

So when Seth and Evan get unexpectedly invited to Jules mountainous raging party they see the event as their chance to hurt their lingering virginity. Seth, who wants to make Jules his girlfriend for the summer tries to hit her by volunteering to get alcoholic drink for her party. Their plan is seemingly simple, to use Fogells ludicrous f ake ID, which says he has the instantly memo! rable key McLovin a 25 year old Hawaiian organ donor, to buy the drink from a nearby alcohol store. Predictably, on that point are complications from the start; the night becomes an escalating cataclysm involving hilarious and unsteady encounters with drunks, thugs and drugs, crackhead sing-alongs, and beer mixed with laundry detergent.
