Emotions and Job Satisfaction As known, job satisfaction and emotions play a major role in any organization because they influence the behaviors. Over and above, they impact the performance, which is the most critical factor in the growth of that organization. Job satisfaction is known as the feelings of employees about their jobs. Apparently, whole Foods Market emphasizes on positive emotional reflections, work environment, the quality of supervision, and the work itself in order to achieve job satisfaction. In the first place, John Mackey, the CEO of Whole Foods Market, wants to provide a unique workplace environment. One of his main aims is â€Å"to help create an organization which manifests love, joy, and happiness.† As far as love, joy, and happiness are concerned as emotions, the organization understands emotions and manages relationships in an effective way; therefore, the CEO of Whole Foods Market has implemented the meaning of Emotional Intelligence.
